Overview

For thousands of years, indigenous tribes of South America have used Pau D'Arco as a traditional cure-all and praise the substance for its healing properties.(as stated by Dr. John Armstrong, N.D. – "Spotlight Magazine") Pau D'Arco comes from the inner bark of the purple-flowering Taheebo tree. As scientists investigate this tree they have noted how it seems to have an incredible ability to resist fungal growth that is common in the environment in which they grow. When the inner bark is taken and steeped in water, the result is an extract with similar antifungal properties.
There are many common names for the Pau D'Arco herb including Taheebo, Ipe Roxo, La Pacho, or Tabebuia.

Suggested Use

• Steep one teabag in a teacup of hot water for at least 5 minutes; if brewed by the gallon, use 6 teabags and steep for 1-3 hours. After steeped, it can be consumed hot or cold.
• If made as a sun tea, leave the glass container in the sun all day to unlock therapeutic properties.
